Vampire Diaries Season 4 Episode 13 The end of the preview finds Damon threatening Shane. He tells Shane, "I'm done trusting you. Where's the cure?" Will the group be successful in their search?

On Jan. 31, The CW released a new sneak peek preview and a set of promotional photos for "The Vampire Diaries" season 4, episode 13 "Into the Wild." Spoiler alert – turn away now if you don't want to see what's coming up on the show.

The preview (seen below) shows that the Mystic Falls group has traveled to a remote island in search of the cure. Bonnie, Jeremy, Stefan, Rebekah, Damon, Elena and Shane have all made the trek, and as you can imagine, there will lots of tension between them all!

If Tyler finally confronts Klaus about Mayor Lockwood's murder, in between the two is the last place Caroline should be.

According to TVLine, The Vampire Diaries Season 4, Episode 13, "Into the Wild" has a Lost vibe going on — probably because a bunch of our Mystic Fallsians have trekked to a strange island, but they're not its only inhabitants.

The crew is being stalked by an unknown entity. Our money is on Vaughn (Charlie Bewley), the member of the Five who seems to have special (very bad) plans for Damon (Ian Somerhalder). The hunter knows a lot about the elder Salvatore, but he can't comprehend Damon's attachment to Elena (Nina Dobrev).

Another contender, however, is Caitlin (Camille Guaty), a woman from Shane's (David Alpay) past, who seems to know what her old acquaintance is up to.

Professor Shane leads an expedition to a desolate island off the coast of Nova Scotia, where he believes the secret of the cure lies hidden. On the trek to the island's interior, Rebekah and Elena continue their bitter rivalry, Stefan does his best to keep the peace, and Damon accuses Shane of leading them into a trap. Bonnie and Jeremy try to figure out the message of the Hunter's mark, while Shane reveals more of the legend of Silas and the witch Qetsiyah, along with his own personal history. Back in Mystic Falls, Tyler confronts Klaus, and Caroline is caught up in the violence that follows.
